Posted by Julie in : Random Insanity , trackbackI am back to work. I am not happy about it. Why can’t we all just have everything we need without having to work? I guess what I’m saying is “Why can’t we all just be independently wealthy and have everything in the world run by magical gnomes who like to work?”
Things that I would rather be doing besides working, in no particular order: beading, spinning, knitting, holding Samang, hanging out in the park with J and Thabs, sleeping late with Rick, playing fetch with Freddie, watching TiVo, reading a good book, cuddling with Joe…the list just goes on and on. And I managed to do all of it on my four day weekend. Now I just need to figure out how to have a never-ending weekend, I guess.

I was looking forward to an update on your weekend. I’m glad it was all that and a bag of beads. The gnomes running the world would be dandy, and involve a lot of ladders. But would we appreciate the wonder of a long weekend if we didn’t have to work in the meantime?
Things I would rather be doing right now: Painting our guest bedroom a nice shade of aqua, reading, looking at hideous prom gowns at the mall, riding my bike along the hahhhbahhh, eating some ice cream with peanut butter cups, dancing w/ Ellen DeGeneres, and updating my blog and making myself believe that thousands of readers’ days are improved by such an update. That’s it for now.
Must be genetic.
