Posted by Julie in : In Da Hood , trackbackFarm-Aid is happening in New York City this year. On Randall’s Island. In the middle of the East River. It’s joined to Ward Island by a landfill. My friends, the only way it could get more urban was if they plopped Farm-Aid down in the middle of Harlem.
On the other hand, the inmates over at Riker’s Island will have a nice concert to listen to. I bet a lot of them just love Willie Nelson.

Jesus, this is New York State. All they have to do is move Farm Aid north about 60 miles and they’ll be in the middle of farm country. Of course, all the MONEY is in NYC.

Vince~No, that was totally my thought as well. “Not doing this concert to be near a farm, must be here for the money.” Unless maybe we are both jaded?
I’m older than you and entitled to become jaded. What’s your excuse?
