Diversionary tactic. September 25, 2007 ~ 2:03 pm
Posted by Julie in : Da Cats , trackbackI am grumpy and grouchy and don’t have anything to say, so I will distract you with a picture of my cat watching lions on TV. He also enjoys shows about fish; he watched about five minutes of Blue Planet the other night.

Remember how Tikki used to love Bear in the Big Blue House?
I had totally forgotten about that. She was completely spellbound by Bear. Freddie must have that same gene. He’s also discovered the cursor on my computer and tries to attack it now.
You better watch out or your cat will get addicted. Then your electric bills will go through the roof as the cat is watchnig TV 24/7.
My cats watch TV on occasion, which I find oddly disturbing. It makes me think they’re smarter than I am… or are they?
I must have dumb cats. They prefer to spend their time licking themselves and think the TV’s just a warm thing to nap on.
Izzy has started watching TV lately. The Buffledog would watch anything with another Berner in it - including his own videos.
Seamus~That’s funny, it’s kind of like he recognized his kindred! Rick had this lion program on TV one day when I was at work, totally wasn’t paying attention to Freddie, and then suddenly he realized that our little cat was very engrossed in what the big cats were doing. Especially when they were eating. Maybe he was just hungry?
Pan~Oh, Freddie loves to sleep behind the TV as well - there’s a niche between the tube and the entertainment center, and he fits there quite nicely.
Inanna~I would love to know what exactly is going through their heads as they watch it. But I won’t worry until the cat starts watching CNN or something.
Vince~He does not know how to work the remote. That will be our saving grace.
