Jamie~I guess the answer is no. Even when I’m hanging out at my house, I’m up until all hours because I want to use that time for things that *I* want to do. We’re almost out of the EmergenC at my place. I’d better tell Rick to buy us some!

Kendra~I’m very happy that I have health insurance to cover all this stuff. I wish my dental coverage was as good…in fact, it’s almost time to play one of my favorite blog games: “How much do we think this visit to see Skippy will cost Julie after reimbursement?”

Aimee~I can imagine.

ESC~I dread the visit to Skippy more than the visit to the gynecologist. Because the gyno will be over shortly and will cost me a $15 copay. The visit to Skippy will require x-rays, and who the hell knows what they will find and possibly need to drill, and will cost me a shitload. Which hurts more after a visit to the dentist, the mouth or the pocketbook?

Vince~I stayed home most of yesterday. The snot saw that as a chance to regroup. I am blowing my nose all the time today. So much for resting!

What Vince said! You never stop! Do you ever really rest? I’d die at your pace. Everyone in our ER, doctors included swear by Vit C! I use the EmergenC in a cup of OJ. Depending on the flavor.

You are a good life-maintenance person. My salutes. And of course you made me think of our lampshade/waiting room skit in theatre class w/ Mehler.

I am in to see the midwife every 4 minutes these days because OH LOOK ONE OF HER EYELASHES FELL OUT DEAR HEAVENS WHAT NOW and I’m a bit wearied by the constant string of visits but glad to have health insurance to cover these important appointments to pee in cups.

I’m beginning to hate doctors.

Not really the doctors so much as the NEED to see them on such a regular basis. Ugh.

at least you’re getting all doctor fun over in one week instead of dragging it out. like a bandaid – rip it fast and it’s over.

Fresh air is indeed good for you. Over exerting yourself is not. I recommend you leave work early, go home, and stay on the couch.
