I heart the holidays December 26, 2007 ~ 11:57 am

My past three days have involved a 911 call, a trip to the ER with Rick’s mom, a fair amount of time spent at the hospital, a bomb scare at work this morning, and eight calls (and counting) to my office from someone screaming “She’s going to throw a bomb! Die! Die! Explosions!”.

How was your Christmas?

My Christmas was no where near as eventful as yours. Now, as for the bombs, as long as they blow up people you don’t like, what’s the harm?

Wow. There really IS no rest for the weary, huh? I hope your New Years is completely uneventful. For your sake.

Sounds like somebody got lumps of coal and switches in their stocking.

Hope Rick’s mom is doing ok!

Vince~It apparently wasn’t that serious, they didn’t call in the bomb-sniffing dogs. Third bomb threat on campus in a week, it’s becoming old news.

Grace~From your lips to God’s ears. I begin to see how the saying “When it rains, it pours” came about. All I want is some time to sit down with my Cat Bordhi book and veg, but I guess not any time soon.

Seamus~Dude, Santa gave you coal *and* switches? You must’ve been really bad - I only ever got coal. ;) Waiting to find out about Rick’s mom, hospital was in holiday mode and you know that means the doctors were away…

Mine was almost as wild, but no ER call. I did have to help pick someone up off the floor though, so we got a little adrenaline charge we could have done without.

Hope Rick’s mom’s ok now.
