Sleepy. It was a long weekend, and if you checked in at various points during it, you know part of why. I tried to update Wordpress on Saturday and the whole thing crashed and burned and then I spent an hour on the phone with the nice guys at my hosting company and they fixed it. But then the comments, they were broken. So I spent some time reading forums to fix them. And around all that? I did laundry and grocery shopped and oh yeah, I made my home office go from this (pay no attention to Blur Cat on the chair, pretending to be a parrot):

That’s better and more efficient, right? That’s good, because on Friday night I talked my way into my first freelance grant writing gig. Actually, it’s more of an internship while I learn, but eventually it will be freelance. And hopefully make me some cash.
And I also vacuumed and cleaned twice this weekend, once before all the new office stuff arrived and once after I assembled everything because holy hell, the mess that is left behind after unpacking six boxes from Pottery Barn and installing their contents is not to be believed and certainly not to be lived with. So by yesterday afternoon, we were all feeling like this:

I’d love to be in that position too, but I have Hospice coming in for Big Poppa so naptime has to wait even tho I’m sick. Yay.
