I have a cold. I’m not totally unintelligible at this point, but the stuffy nose is getting to be a pain. I try not to take cold meds at work because they generally all make me sleepy, but you can bet I will be hooking up with the Sudafed when I get home. Rick wants me to come to his place this evening, and I probably will. I’m not feeling completely miserable at this point. I just have to make a pit stop at the Duane Reade (remember Duane Reade, Steph) to pick up a box of Kleenex because Rick doesn’t have a single box of Kleenex in his apartment. Seriously, we have to use toilet paper, which is one-ply at his place because he’s a man and doesn’t understand that we spend money on certain things like TP. And my already sore nose doesn’t want to deal with one-ply TP. So there will be a box of Kleenex in that apartment, by Goddess.

In other news, Larry has not yet called me back to arrange a meeting on this program insert he wants, so I guess I’m writing it blind, showing it to him on Saturday, and that will be that. Can’t do this shit over the phone, Lar. I need some face time for this, unfortunately.

And Rick and I both learned a new phrase last night. It was the same phrase, but we learned it in different settings. He learned it at a playwright’s group, I learned it from Sex and the City. It’s “See You Next Tuesday,” which if you shorten it down turns into C-U-N-…well, you get the picture. We’re the last ones on the planet to learn this, aren’t we?

Finally, trying to decide if it’s worth it to go back to Netflix. They’ve dropped their rates, but I’m not home a lot, and when I am I generally have TV on as a background noise while I blog, or surf the net, or read, or whatever. Do they have enough good movies to make me want to watch? Dunno.

Okay, going home.
