“Space within these lines not dedicated.” And neither is my foot.
Can anyone explain to me why the people in my office just don’t learn? If I’ve explained things once, I’ve explained them fifty times, yet they always ask the same exact stupid question when they’re looking over the degree audits. The answer hasn’t changed, quit asking me dumb-ass questions and disrupting my important work. And yes, my work is important. I’m doing all the degree audits that they end up checking, and the more I get interrupted, the more chance of mistakes that they won’t catch later because I work with retards. Sorry, had to get that out of my system. They’re not actually retarded, they’re just not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier.
And now I must take a break and blog.
Larry finally just called and gave me a shitload of corrections on the insert that I wrote. Minor revisions, but things that he wanted added that I now have to rephrase and make fun to read. Those were his exact words. “Fun to read. Not academic.” Aye, aye. That will be how I spend my lunch hour. No nice lunchtime snooze in the sun for Julie today. This way, I get the whole shebang done by four this afternoon and can email it to the person who’s putting together the program, and I’m off the hook and can go to Old Navy and get work pants that don’t catch on my bellybutton, possibly the most uncomfortable phenomenon ever. All my pants must be low-rise, dammit.
End of rants.
