Irritation April 17, 2006 ~ 11:30 am
Posted by Julie in : Reviews , trackbackMy new spray-on sunscreen has given me a rash, and my work’s server crashed when I tried to post about it, thus effectively eating my post. Stupid server. For that matter, stupid work.
I spent my Easter morning watching Dogma on Comedy Central. A film that, no matter how many times you watch it, never gets old. Thank you, Kevin Smith, for casting Alan Rickman as the Metatron: “Tell a person you’re the Metatron and they stare at you blankly. Mention something out of a Charlton Heston movie and suddenly everybody’s a theology scholar.”

I LOVE that Comedy Central played Dogma on Easter. Rawk.
Neutrogena gave you a rash? I thought we could trust them!
Sloth~I think it was the “cooling” ingredient. Or the non-aerosol aerosol. Because normally I have no problems at all with Neutrogena. But I definitely have a rash today. Feh.
Varla~All the other channels had “Life of Jesus” or “The Bible” on yesterday morning. But not Comedy Central, dammit. They are my heros.
You still gonna do the spray-on tan with me?
Lori~Not while I’m bumpy. And I’m not sure how long that will last.
Neutrogena did the same damn thing to me.
and I love Dogma, love that Alan Rickman was in it. love it.
You are so right, it’s a movie I can watch over and over again.
you’d think i’d just buy the dvd already.
Sorry to hear about the rash. I haven’t seen Dogma, except for about 30 minutes of it. I might see it one of these days since Alan Richman is in it.
Not to mention how shocking to see Jason Lee after watching “My Name Is Earl.”
Geewits~I found Jason Lee through Kevin Smith’s movies, so I’m a fan from waaay back.
Best Jason Lee line in the whole movie “I’m a freaking demon!”
Vince~See it. It pokes a bit of fun at Catholicism and dogma, but it actually has a good message. And George Carlin as a Cardinal, so you can’t beat that.
Steph~All the Neutrogena, or just the spray on kind? Just wondering. And I have to admit that I have the 2-dvd collector’s version. Awesome.
Just the spray on kind for me, I’ve used the slather it on kind with no troubles (other than streaks)
