Hubby and I decided to wait awhile first- I didn't have my first until I was almost 32. Which means now all my friend's kids are entering College, while I still have one in Elementary school!! Hell, when I got married first, and my little brother started having kids, that feeling hit me. I've had several friends around me have kids. It's sad because it makes me want kids, but i'm not in a place to have them now, but was a few years ago. Life is strange sometimes, but I wouldn't give up being an Aunt and I'm sure someday I will have kids. It's funny though because while I feel like I have ages to have a kid, I think about my mom when she was my age, and she already had a 12 year old and a 10 year old. Scary. I know what you mean.
