Posted by Julie in : Academic Office Monkey , trackbackI just got off the phone with a student who is almost done with his requirements. I have spoken to this student before and he is very sweet with a heavy Russian accent. When I told him that he would in fact be graduating, he says to me “Okay, you the best, Julie, I love you!”
Things like that make being an academic office monkey worthwhile.

There is NOTHING like hearing “I love you” in an accent! Except maybe hearing your own name in that accent!
