What iTunes needs May 19, 2007 ~ 8:19 am
Posted by Julie in : Technobabble , trackbackYou know what iTunes needs? A button that I could press that says “Keep this thing in my shopping cart, I do want it, but not right now, but please still give me the other five albums I’ve put in my cart.”
Because $75.89 is a bit much to spend all at once to get a non-cassette version of my favorite metal albums of the 80s. Especially on top of the $54-something I spent last night getting…things that weren’t metal. (I admit it, I got the Music and Lyrics soundtrack. And Dolores O’Riordan’s new album. And a shitload of Springsteen because I have finally accepted that I like his music.)
Yes, I have activated my new debit card. Why do you ask?

Email them–tell them they need to add a “wish list” feature. They listen to their customers.
I have yet to sucumb to the Boss. Never really cared for his stuff.
What 80s metal do you need? If I have I can certainly provide on MP3.
Vince~All of my 80s metal is on tape. Warrant, Slaughter, Guns N Roses, Poison, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Skid Row, Damn Yankees, Bruce Dickinson…those are just some of the ones in my cart.
Aimee~Good idea. I will do that.
You know, if you download Audacity and then connect a cassette deck to your PC, you could then play the cassettes and convert the songs directly to MP3 and then you’d have them digitally without having to buy them again….
Or a wish list. iTunes needs to get with the program.
Grace~Exactly. Because apparently the only thing like a wishlist that iTunes has are those iMixes. And those are a pain in the ass.
Vince~My cassette deck is from the land before time, i.e, the 80s. How does one hook that up to a computer?
