I know that you filmed Don Juan in 1926, the year before sound and film were integrated in The Jazz Singer. I also know that silent films were not a new invention by this point. Since you obviously had previous exposure to the medium (ie, you had been in films prior to this, and had most likely seen other films that you were not in), I must ask you: what in the world gave you the idea that stage makeup was a good thing on camera? Jack, stage makeup is exaggerated because of the distance involved between performer and audience. Up close, it looks ridiculous. So why did you chose to wear more eyeliner and mascara than Tammy Fae Bakker? I can only hope that you were drunk when applying it. And that wherever you may be now, you have learned that no one needs that much kohl around their eyes.
